How much time do you spend being creative? Do you have a hobby or something you truly enjoy doing that is creative, but never seem to find time to do it? Or do you have the belief that you don’t have a creative bone in your body, or some other similar belief. For years I told people that I couldn’t draw a straight line with a ruler and that I wasn’t artistic. Yet, after working on my own healing wounds from childhood, which included having my father who was a professional artist and design engineer tell me regularly that my art work was no good or that I had traced it, I discovered my gift for drawing symbols to help heal the body.
Here’s where it gets interesting though. Prior to discovering my gift, I had ulcers, and gallstones as well as regular indigestion. What I discovered on my healing journey was that by keeping my “Solar Plexus Chakra” shutdown and by not owning my creativity, I caused my body to start breaking down. As I worked learned the importance of keeping my energy flowing and kept my Solar Plexus opened, the health challenges began to clear up and my gifts showed up as well.
Here are some of the types of ailments that are related to a shutdown Solar Plexus along with some insights about the underlying emotional triggers that cause these ailments.
Stomach Problems
Emotional Relationship
The stomach is all about nourishment and digestion. Considering those two pieces, if you are denying your creativity, you are not nourishing your soul, which then gets translated to create the physical outcome of Stomach Problems. Stomach problems can also be related to fear of new ideas, which can also relate to the Solar Plexus being shut down, because creativity is really all about new ideas / new creations. In addition, new ideas are typically inspired through our intuition and the Solar Plexus center is our intuitive center, specifically to what many people refer to as their gut instincts or gut feeling.
Ulcers
Emotional relationship
You may be one of those very creative people who doesn’t activate their creativity because you believe that you aren’t good enough. It may also mean that you have a deep craving to use your creativity, but it’s eating away at you that you just don’t believe you are good enough.
Liver
Emotional relationship
The liver is the seat of anger and in the case of lack of creativity, it is likely that you are angry at yourself for either not being as good as you could be, or because you aren’t taking time for yourself to enjoy your creativity. Either one can cause some serious Liver ailments.
Gallbladder – Gallstones
Emotional relationship
You boldly believe you aren’t good enough. Or you tell yourself regularly, how dare you have the gull to think you could possibly compete with or create on the level of another person who is famous.
Pancreas Cancer, Diabetes, or Hypoglycemia
Emotional relationship
You believe that you don’t deserve to have the sweetness in life that your creative talents could bring to you.
Suggested Affirmations and Positive Beliefs
Here are a few samples of positive beliefs that you may want to incorporate into your daily practice. I highly recommend that you sit quietly to find the deepest underlying belief you may have about this particular issue, before doing any affirmations and that you use bridging to bring your beliefs forward from where you currently are.
For example if you are working on sweetness in life, what is your core belief about having sweetness in your life? Do you believe it is possible to have sweetness in your life? Do you believe you are doomed to have a boring life? Do you believe you are cursed and that nothing in life is sweet or fun? Whatever that belief is you will want to bridge forward.
Example of Belief Bridging
If your belief is that you are cursed and nothing in life is sweet of fun. Here’s some examples of bridging statements you may want to use
- I desire to find the gift each day in my life
- I deserve to easily find the gift each day brings into my life
- I am able to easily find the gift each day brings into my life
- I desire to find sweetness in my life
- I deserve to find sweetness in my life
- I easily find sweetness in the gifts life has to offer me every day
- I easily receive the sweet gift life offers me every day
- Every day in every way I am able to easily find the sweet gift life gave me
- I love how sweet life is
By doing affirmations in this order, your subconscious mind has a much better chance of accepting that last affirmation as true, because you have gradually bridged it forward. You’ll find much more information on how this works along with two powerful symbols to help you transform your beliefs in my books. You can certainly do these affirmations 21 days twice per day in the mirror and you will find profound differences in your beliefs. If you want to speed up the process, the Straight Path to Core Beliefs and Belief Transformation processes that are in my books, helps you so that you only need to do the bridging affirmations one time and th
e final affirmations (number 6-9) on a daily basis.
Keeping Your Solar Plexus Open
You can use the Chakra Opening and Balancing Krystagraph™ for a general tune-up. This particular symbol opens and balances all of your chakras and takes about 20 seconds. For a specific tune-up of the Solar Plexus chakra, you would want to use the Solar Plexus Chakra Krystagraph™. You can find both of these in my newsletter or you can get the full set in my book, Power Symbols for Balanced Energy.
To support keeping your Solar Plexus open you can wear yellow, and even eat different yellow veggies, etc. All of these things help, although without working on the deeper beliefs and emotional triggers, you are far less likely to have a full healing.
Commit to Using Your Creativity More
Like anything the more you do it, the better you get at it. Creativity isn’t any different. Your first step is to find what it is that you love to do that is creative. Is it writing, painting, drawing, singing, playing a musical instrument, or creative thinking by thinking outside the box to find solutions? No matter what it is, make a commitment to yourself that you are going to exercise the creativity muscle every day. Set aside time to do that activity, schedule it on your calendar and when the time comes, take it as seriously as you would any other meeting. You are worth it and deserve to feel the joy of being creative.
Other things you can do to get your creativity juices flowing
- Spend time meditating daily – by quieting your mind for a brief period of time each day, you are more likely to be open to receiving more inspiration.
- Spend time in nature on a regular basis. Getting out and breathing fresh air, getting some sunshine and being present by observing nature can truly inspire your creative juices
- Get plenty of rest. This may sound counter intuitive, but if you aren’t rested well, you are far more likely to fall back into your old patterns, instead of embracing new and creative ideas. You are also more likely to stick to your routine, instead of stepping outside of that routine spend time being creative.
- Get exercise. Again this may sound counter intuitive, but if you get the blood flowing by exercising you are more likely to have the energy to complete your daily tasks and then have more time to do the things that your love that are creative.
