Gratitude is one of the most powerful things we can do to manifest more in our lives. When we are grateful and I mean truly grateful filled with joy and happiness, when we really “feel” gratitude the Universe, Source Energy delivers you more of what you are grateful for.
Most people take so many things for granted until they don’t have them. We take our children, our spouse, our parents and siblings as well as our best friends for granted. And, here in the US, we take one day per year to give thanks. Well, as much as I love Thanksgiving day, I think it is important to be grateful not just one day a year but 365 days per year. Think about this… What are you taking for granted?
I was given this symbol called “Love & Gratitude” which I keep where I see it regularly and each time I see it, my eyes well up and I think of something or someone that I am deeply grateful for. I then speak it out loud with feeling. Sometimes I’m grateful that the electricity is on or that I have a great high speed internet connection, a flushing toilet , so I don’t have to go outside into a smelly out-house in the cold. Yes some people don’t have electricity, high speed internet or even flushing toilets.
When I think of a friend that I am grateful for, I send them a quick note in an email or sometimes I even pick up the phone to say hello and tell them how much they mean to me. Yes, Thanksgiving day is a good day to be grateful and to express our gratitude, but having an attitude of gratitude everyday is an amazing experience.
So, I challenge you to do 3 things to make your life awesome. 1) Express your gratefulness to someone or for something at least once per day, 2) Do something good for yourself to nurture your soul. You can’t give to others what you don’t have, so give to yourself first, 3) Do something special for one person everyday, even if it’s just a big warm smile that warms their heart.
