Do you judge yourself?  Do you have all the love you want in your life?  Do you suffer from heart, or lung problems? Do you love yourself totally & completely for who you are?

Today’s edition of the ‘Empowered Spirit News focuses on your heart chakra, how it relates to your heart and lungs and how it plays a role in the amount of love you in have in your life.

The fourth energy center known as the ‘Heart Chakra,’ relates to

• Ones ability to feel or sense others’ emotions & understand them
• Ability to live in harmony and balance with others
• Self Love
• Love of Others
• Love for God or Universal Intelligence

If you are struggling in any of these areas most likely your Heart Chakra is shutdown.  Use the technique described in the 3^rd issue of ‘The Empowered Spirit News’ to check your heart chakra and determine whether it is open or shutdown.

Although, the Chakra Opening & Balancing symbol will open and balance your heart chakra, using the Heart Chakra Symbol provided below will make it even stronger.  Hold the symbol in your non-dominant hand with the image against your skin to open and balance your heart chakra. You may also choose to hold the symbol against your body in the area of your heart chakra, located in the center of your chest in line with where your breast nipples are or were (for those of us who have started to sag) prior to the natural sagging that happens with age..  Alternatively you may also visualize the symbol to activate your heart chakra. As you keep this area opened and balanced you may find improvements in these areas of your life.

Opened and Balanced Chakra: 

• You feel totally and completely loved
• You love yourself totally and completely
• You sense the feelings of others
• You are able to understand other person’s feelings and are compassion for them
• You live harmoniously and in balance within your world
• You feel a strong love connection with God or Universal Intelligence

When people are romantically “in love,” this chakra will be open, sometimes temporarily during the initial feelings of love. If they do not truly love themselves totally and completely or if they believe that they are not worthy of someone else’s love or they believe that God or Universal Intelligence does not love them for who and what they are, they will eventually shut back down once the newness of the relationship is over.

Shutdown Chakra:

• You feel as though you are not loved or loveable
• You feel as though God or Universal Intelligence does not love you
• You feel that you are not worthy of his/her love.

Areas of Possible Ailments when Shut Down:

Non-Gender Specific:     

• Heart
• Lungs
• Thymus
• Arms
• Fingers
• Shoulders
• Hands
• Middle Back
• Breasts
• Upper Back

Other Related Issues:

Kyphosis – Rounded Shoulders – blocking off love, self centeredness, an inability to forgive oneself or others, fear of being alone, anger, hatred, bitterness, jealousy, a lack of will to live.

Non-Supportive Thought Patterns and Beliefs:

1. I am not worthy of being loved.
2. No one loves me.
3. I hate myself.
4. God hates me.
5. Everyone hates me.
6. I’ll never forgive _____ for _____.
7. I’ll never forgive myself for _______.
8. I’m going to have a heart attack.

1. I desire to love myself.

3. I love myself totally & completely.

6. I am loved totally & completely for who I am.
