13 and Wiser Than Most People

When I watched the video below I was brought to tears and knew I had to share it with you. I was amazed and wondered, how does a young man, only 13 year old have such wisdom and beautiful gifts?

In my opinion his biggest asset was having parents that saw him whole, healthy and beautiful. They didn’t see him broken, they didn’t give up and they gave him that same gift of never giving up. If I were a parent, I’d watch this video over and over until I really understood at a “Soul Level”, the gift his parents gave him. So often parents discourage their kids, unintentionally, when if they took a step back and considered their language before they spoke, they might truly inspire their kids to be as wise as this young man.

Although I don’t have any children, I do understand that parenting is not an easy task and we never got a learning manual or even any training in school. My hope is that this video may touch the lives of parents, so that they understand how love, compassion and a never give up attitude is one of the best assets you can use when raising your children, and also give as a gift to your children for the next generation.

Enjoy the video and I’d love your comments and feedback below.

  • Karla,

Happy to hear that you enjoyed the video a second time. 🙂 Best of luck in your creation of your consulting business for parents and young adults as well as children. It certainly it an area that we need a lot of help in. Keep me posted as you get your business up and running. Krystalya

I saw this young man’s video before. I was/am so impressed with his passion, courage and love that exudes from him. As an educator of educationally challenged students and a parent of 2 wonderful adult children I am so proud of his parents for raising such a great young man. I am in the midst of creating my consulting business with the focus being on parents, young adults and children. I plan to use examples like this to encourage and direct our young parents and youth in the right direction.

    Thank you for sharing!
