Grateful for You!

Here in the United States we are celebrating a day of Gratitude, that we call Thanksgiving. For me everyday is a day to be grateful. So, whether you are here in the U.S. or somewhere else, I want you to know that I feel deeply blessed that you have welcomed me into your life, by receiving my gift of sacred symbols. I feel blessed to be the conduit for bringing these symbols in and being able to share them with you.

I like to look for the blessing in everything and be grateful for that blessing. Even things that don’t seem positive at the time, have a blessing if we look for them. Some times it takes longer than other times to see the blessing, but I always find the blessing. I have found that the more I am grateful for the blessings and the sooner I look for the blessing the faster I start to recognize the blessing in those things that are sad or even hurtful.

Recently I noticed a brick wall that consisted of about 100 bricks, in front of my house, which I had purposely not cemented together was leaning. I made a note in my mind to add it to my list of things that I needed to tend to. I remembered thinking how much work it was going to be to tear the wall down in order to rebuild it properly. A few days later as I was sitting in my office I suddenly heard a noise outside. As I looked out the window, I watched as the entire wall collapsed. For many people they would have been frustrated that they now needed to tend to it sooner than planned. Instead I celebrated and gave thanks that the Universe took care of the first step in the project. Within a week after picking up the necessary supplies to get the job done, I was introduced to a new neighbor, who was looking to do some side jobs. I hired him and he fixed the wall for a very reasonable price. I was THRILLED to say the least that everything fell into place so easily!

So, I challenge you to look for the good in anything happening in your life, find the blessing and give gratitude for the experience.

The “Love and Gratitude” Symbol is the symbol I use when I am looking for the blessing in something that doesn’t appear to be a blessing.

What I typically do, is open and balance my chakras and then I place the image against the skin of my non-dominant hand, while I sit quietly with a pen and paper in hand. I then ask to be shown the gift and begin to write whatever comes to me. At first it may be things such as I don’t know why I’m doing this, this is silly, there is no gift in xxx, etc. Of course if you are willing to let the ego go on it’s merry way, eventually your mind will quiet and that inner voice will begin writing and telling the story and showing you the blessing. With practice you will find this quite easy and that the messages you receive can be very profound.
